The Technology Desk is now accepting faculty and staff personally-owned computers for service. This free service continues until August 1, 2012 and is offered within the following guidelines:
Work at the desk is limited to software only. Examples include malware removal, software installation, windows updates, mac system updates, etc.
Windows computers must be running Windows 7 or later. *
Macintosh computers must be running Leopard or later (OS 10.5-7).*
Computers should have a minimum of 1GB of RAM.
((*We can assist you with updating operating systems (from XP to Windows 7, for example) if you have purchased and brought in the upgrade disks. You will need to stay with your computer during the upgrade process.)
Please call the Tech Desk at 577-7777 before bringing in your computer to verify we can do the work you are requesting.
