Art History and Engineering — two curricular arenas we don’t usually see co-joined — yet faculty in both areas are interested in exploring how tablet computing may impact student learning at Bucknell.
A three year study of tablet use at Reed is continuing with faculty across the college contributing to a better understanding of how iPads can be used in research and to support student learning. Read more at:

The work done so far at Bucknell, Reed and at Stanford may help us to point to some ‘good apps to download’, as well as some classroom practices to put in place, or different processes to use to introduce tablet technologies. These different strands or variables may help us to further form or frame what learning with technology looks like for undergraduates today.
