Sustainable Building Database: BuildingGreenSuite

BuildingGreen Suite [http://ezproxy.bucknell.edu/login?url=http://www.buildinggreen.com] offers the Bucknell campus community access to three integrated databases of authoritative information on sustainable building:

•       All content from Environmental Building News published
since 1992

•       The complete directory of green building products listed
in GreenSpec® and

•       More than 200 high performance buildings case studies.

New content is added to the website on a regular basis.  Product listings
are updated daily, and articles and case studies are added monthly.

Bucknell University’s BuildingGreen Suite subscription gives students and
faculty  access to one of the leading information sources for what really
matters in sustainable design and construction.   University facility managers engaged in
renovation and new building projects are among the tens of thousands of
building professionals accessing well-researched, clearly written information
through BuildingGreen Suite.

The content is independent of outside interests. Unlike
general searches for similar information on the worldwide web, students can
rely on the validity of BuildingGreen’s content.  Students using BuildingGreen Suite are
employing a tool currently used in the field by designers, architects,
builders, facility managers, and other building industry professionals.

BuildingGreen Suite articles help to unravel the complexities around design
strategies and building product information.
EBN feature articles are an ideal length and are written in a style that
builds a larger context and gives concrete examples.   BuildingGreen Suite offers information already vetted by a reputable editorial team.   Building project case studies offer insights into materials used, energy data, ratings and awards, indoor environment, site and water issues, etc.
