Bucknell professors to lead GIS seminar

On Tuesday, October 9, Katherine Faull, professor of German and the humanities, and Alf Kentigern Siewers, associate professor of English and affiliated faculty member in environmental studies, both of Bucknell University, will lead “Stories of the Susquehanna: Digital Humanities, Spatial Thinking, and Telling the Historia of the Environment.” This seminar will explore how the digital humanities makes it possible for students to incorporate technologies such as ArcGIS and Google Earth into storytelling about their environment. “Stories of the Susquehanna” takes place at 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. (EDT). Register by Friday, October 5.
