Cyber Security Tip #3 – Vaccinate Your Computer

Computer viruses are a fact of life on the Internet. With millions of computers interconnected they can spread very, very quickly.

While Macintosh computers are “relatively immune” to this threat, Windows machines present a primary target. The bottom line–every machine running Windows should have an anti-virus product installed.

All Bucknell-issued machines include an antivirus product called Microsoft Forefront. However, there are many other effective products out there (including free ones) to protect a personally-owned Windows machine. Below are informative reviews for both free and pay-for products to help you choose which may be right for you:
