Does it seem noisy when you walk into the Library? Are you looking for places to study that are quieter than the first floor? There are three designated quiet study areas (no talking and no cell phone use) within the Bertrand Library: level 2 rear, where the print periodicals are shelved; level 3 – the two enclosed rooms on either side of the stairway entrance, and lower Level 1 front near the graduate student carrels.
We make every effort to ensure that these areas are indeed quiet. If you have questions or concerns about quiet study places, please visit the Reference /Information Desk on the first floor of the library (570-577-1462; firstname.lastname@example.org). You can also text (570-266-7919) the desk to ask any questions you may have.
