Remote labs – software where you are

Remote Labs is a new software application virtualization environment which provides the ability to run software applications on your own desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone that would normally only be available in a campus computer lab.

It makes these applications available anytime, anywhere. Virtualization removes any Windows and Mac device compatibility issues, allowing you to run graphic- or processor- intensive applications on less powerful devices. Virtualization also allows students to run software on their laptops like SAS or SPSS which are not licensed for individual student use.

Available applications include:

  • JMP Pro
  • MatLab
  • MathCad
  • Minitab
  • SAS
  • SolidWorks
  • SPSS
  • Stata

Remote Labs is available to faculty and students.
